fusing glass classes
for beginners
One day introductory class usually held on the second Saturday of the month. In this class you can produce a number of objects such as bowls of various shapes, coasters, hangings, jewellery - almost anything within the area of filn space provided.
There is a limit of 7 people per workshop enabling faster learning
The advantage of a small class is that you can experiment with many different effects and have an experienced adviser on hand at each stage.
Areas covered : design, glass cutting, glass compatability, firing cycles, decorative applications
The fusing and slumping in the kiln will take place after the workshop and the results can be collected or posted at Post Office rates. Price = £140 for the day, materials included (10:00am - 4:30pm)

Monday& Tuesday evenings are for those who would like to use the studio facilities to practise the techniques learnt and be monitored while embarking their own projects. The price is £17.5 (materials not included ) from 6pm-8:30pm and these sessions are payable in advance in blocks of 6 evenings.
